The chemical name of Brilliant Blue FCF Colour is disodium 4’,4”-di(N-ethyl-3-sulphonatoenzylamino)triphenyl-methylium-2-sulphonate. It is denoted by E Number E133 and has a colour index of 42090.It is a synthetic dye produced using aromatic hydrocarbons from petroleum.
